EventPro was founded in 2014 by Eleni Papamichail and Dimitri Vasilakos in a small mews studio off Voukourestiou in the Kolonaki district of Athens. Eleni had spent eight years inside the corporate events team of a Frankfurt hospitality group, returning to Athens with a notebook full of timing diagrams and a stubborn belief that Greek private clients deserved the same operational discipline as Northern European corporates. Dimitri, a Lyon-trained chef who had run the catering pass at a Mykonos beach club for five summers, brought the kitchen side: a refusal to outsource, a fixed menu of forty signature canapés and a habit of writing dietary cards by hand.
